well fun and frustrating day spent the first half of the morning working on on a sand graphic so it tiles right so this afternoon i can add the other elements of the floor. Then I decided OK time to start work on a designing the new company website got that mostly done layouts there just needs some content and a I need to sort out some funds for the extra polish that goes into a website representing a fledgling effort by a small design studio. so I spent my lunch break at the bank which went good and I’ll launch the website next month which give me good time to put a lot of polish on it design wise.
4 more hours and I can go home yay for moving 1 inch to the left! although i’ll put money on I’ll work more than 4 more actual hours today. not done until i finish animating this damn player character but I’m using exciting technology to do that like 2d skeletal animation so i can make the sprite break dance if i want too something tells me my first game character does not break dance neither does his slightly evil very greedy antagonist of a friend. I was thinking of doing something with a rabbit along those lines down the road tho it just doesn’t fit in the first game I’m making even if the asset is already drawn :P, yeah i sometimes do side projects not sure if that’s a good thing yet probably will be when i got to do something and have assets ready to go. So far mostly been on track a lot of its learning spent some of the weekend pouring over manuals. still not done that task but meh I’m a man i read it as i got i read the important parts and completely skipped the 3d stuff may be later not entirely convinced a game must be 3d just well designed and fun can even look 3d lot of examples of that from the play station era and the production quality can be updated today thanks to more power mawahaha. well back to doing things related to things that get things done and getting some things done.
